Bulland Trade enters Bulgaria’s landscaping market
Bulland Trade, a Bulgarian-Dutch joint venture, said it will produce 130,000 plants for landscaping in 2006, said the company’s manager Tatyana Boyadjieva.
The Bulland Trade project for the construction of a nursery for decorative vegetation in the village of Bratanitsa, in the Pazardjik area, was granted 700,000 euro from the Dutch government’s PSO organisation for capacity building of civil society in developing countries.
Last year, the company built a 0.2 ha greenhouse and installed gas heating and Dutch drip irrigation equipment. Bulland Trade plans to add another 1.5 ha of container fields, a capacity that will allow it to place on the market 300,000 plants in 2007.
Bulland Trade was co-created by Bulgarian companies Gardenia, Alvers and Kiu and Dutch D.v.d. Bosch and Combinatie Mauritz B.V.
