Permanent photo exhibit begins at Kerman’s Mahan Garden
A permanent photo exhibition titled ‘Green Witnesses of History’ opened at Mahan’s Shazdeh Garden on Wednesday with the aim of introducing the cultural and historical aspects of Kerman province.
The English-language newspaper Iran Daily reported that a total of 30 pictures at the exhibition depict the ancient trees of the region.
This exhibition also has pictures of miniature paintings and carpets with designs of trees.
Shazdeh Garden is one of the most beautiful Iranian gardens located on the foothills of Tigran mountains. The main design of this garden is very similar to Iran’s other traditional gardens.
A beautiful public bath and an alcove are located in the eastern corner of the garden. The bath, which was renovated concurrent with restoration of the main building, is currently being used as a museum.
Water pools and fountains are among the most attractive sections of the garden.
