Uganda: Herbal Plant to Cost Sh13b
CONSTRUCTION of a herbal processing plant in Uganda will cost about Shs13 billion, the African Joint Herbal Research Clinic Coordinator, Dr Meddie Sserumu, has said.
He said plans were underway to have a modern herbal drug manufacturing industry in Uganda for local and international market.
The plant will produce drugs for malaria, HIV/Aids related diseases, cancer, high blood pressure and boost manhood among others.
The plant will offer free treatment to orphans and vulnerable children.
“The clinic opened already and offers free services to children but construction of the factory starts next year,” Sserumu said during the launch of their clinic in Makindye on Sunday.

I would like to inquire whether there are herbs that could help children with spastic muscles work as they are supposed to. My children suffered brain injury at birth and as a result suffers chronically from cerebral palsy. Is there anything there anything to help?
