The communities of Milton, Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, and Navarre have pulled together over the past couple of years through the many trials that have faced the area. The Open Rose Florist would like to celebrate this new sense of community.

On Wednesday, September 6, The Open Rose Florist will give away thousands of roses as they celebrate Good Neighbor Day.

Everyone is in invited to visit either the Milton or Gulf Breeze location and pick up their free dozen of roses.

However, there is one catch: each person must promise to spread the cheer. Denise McDonald, owner of the Open Rose Florist explains, “The way it works is you can keep one rose to enjoy yourself, but then you must pledge to give the other eleven to your neighbors, friends, family members, co-workers, or even strangers.This is a really great opportunity to get acquainted with someone.”

The Open Rose Florist invites all to join them as they celebrate our community on Wednesday, September 6 for Good Neighbor Day. Thousands of roses will be given away at the Milton location, 6434 Open Rose Drive between Pen Air and Gulf Power, and at the Gulf Breeze location, 3035 Gulf Breeze Parkway on U.s. 98 in the shopping center next to Subway.

The shops will open at 8 a.m. on Good Neighbor Day, and the free roses will go fast, so participants are urged to come to do their part in spreading neighborly cheer.
