New Florist Offers European Market-Style Concept
National floral retailer KaBloom recently opened its first Virginia store at the Broadlands Center Plaza in Ashburn.
The store opened at 443150 Broadlands Center Plaza on Oct. 5
and will celebrate its grand opening 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 28. A ribbon cutting will take place at noon, and there will be hors d’oeuvres, door prizes, raffle prizes and more.
The first 25 people will receive free wrapped bouquets, and one winner will get floral arrangements for three months.
“KaBloom is more of a European-style flower market concept,” said Paresha Jarral, who owns the Ashburn franchise with her husband, Ashwini. With a large walk-in cooler for fresh-cut flowers, the store encourages customers to choose individual stems and customize their own flower arrangements, she said. Of course, the store also has a variety of flower arrangements that are already prepared.
KaBloom, which is based in Needham, MA, opened in 1998 and has multiple locations coast to coast.
