Benjamin King has joined the cast of “The Wedding Planners,” David E. Kelley’s new series for Fox. The project revolves around three sisters Jane (
Teri Polo), Sammy (Sarah Jones) and Annie (KaDee Strickland) who run a family wedding-planning business.

King, whose credits include NBC’s original movie “Saving Jessica Lynch,” will play the wedding company’s chief corporate officer, the businessman of the group who is happily married to Jane. “Wedding” is slated to premiere in the spring.

Rachael Carpani is set to co-star opposite
Janeane Garofalo in an untitled CBS drama pilot about a team of public defenders. Carpani will play one of them. Garofalo is set as the quirky, sassy boss.
