‘Gardening with Disabilities’ class offered
February 02, 2007 By: Momoy Category: Garden, EventsMaster Gardeners of Yolo County will present a free public education class, “Gardening with Disabilities” on Saturday, Feb. 5. Disabilities should not prevent plant lovers from tending their gardens, the Master Gardeners note.
Master Gardener Cid Barcellos will present methods for gardening to aid people with physical limitations. Topics to be covered include special garden tools, accessible gardens, general gardening practices, and tips for success.
The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to noon in Norton Hall, 70 Cottonwood St. in Woodland. For more information call the Cooperative Extension office at 666-8143.
