ROSY VOLUNTEERS: Experts from the Mesa-East Valley Rose Society will demonstrate proper care and pruning of roses in the desert Southwest. TREE ART: Artist Patrick Dougherty will transform hundreds of saplings into a large sculpture on the Harriet K. Maxwell Desert Wildflower Trail, and visitors can observe the creation of this temporary work of art from beginning to end.
