Interior Designers Offer Free Consultations
The Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) is pleased to announce its fifth annual residential design consultation exhibit at the Interior Design Show, sponsored by HOMES Publishing Group, featuring free 15-minute consultations with interior designers.
Visitors to the Show will have the opportunity to sit down, one-on-one, with some of the area’s finest residential interior designers. The event, which showcases 22 interior designers, will take place at the ARIDO booth (No.1209) on Saturday, February 24, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday, February 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place. This is the perfect opportunity for those buying or renovating a residential space to discuss their plans with experienced and knowledgeable interior designers. Participants should come prepared with pictures and/or floor plans.
The design consultations will take place in a special consultation area designed by Frauke Illing, an ARIDO member and owner of Frauke Illing InteriorDesign.
For the first time, ARIDO has partnered with HOMES Publishing Group for the event. While waiting for their consultations, attendees can peruse the magazines on display and even nab free copies of the latest editions of Reno & Decor and Condo Life.
“Giving the public a chance to discuss their design dilemmas and questions with interior designers provides a forum for educating people about the interior design process,” says Susan Wiggins, executive director of ARIDO. “We are pleased to offer this free service to individuals with upcoming residential design projects and are excited to partner with HOMES Publishing
Group for the 2007 Interior Design Show.”
For those not able to speak to an interior designer at the Show, ARIDO also provides a telephone and online referral service to members of the public looking to hire an interior designer. The referral service is available atwww.arido.ca or by calling 1-800-334-1180. Referral forms and interior design literature will also be available at the ARIDO booth.
