The Eighth International Exhibition “Construction and interior, heating and ventilation – UzBuild-2007″ will open on 13 March in Tashkent. The event is being organised by the ITE Uzbekistan International Exhibition Company.

UzBuild 2007 is the largest international construction exhibition in Uzbekistan held on annual basis. The exhibition is expected to gather over 10,000 representatives of construction industry from around the world.

UzBuild 2007 demonstrates the latest achievements and trends in the construction materials and technology industries. The event promises to grow even larger in scale and be located in two halls of the Central Showroom of the UzExpoCentre.

This year the exhibition gathered a record-breaking number of participants – 100 companies have confirmed their participation, which has once again confirmed its status of a number 1 construction exhibition of Uzbekistan. Among new participants are companies from Denmark, Kyrgyzstan, China and Iran. Around 40 companies are participating in the exhibition for the first time.

The exposition includes a number of sections, which are intended to provide the visitors full information about the new products in the construction industry. The traditional sections of the exhibition are: Construction Materials; Construction Equipment; Heating, Ventilation and AC Systems; Doors and Window Frames; Saunas and Swimming Pools; Sanitary Ware; Flooring; Electric Technology and Lighting; Interior and Design. Four new sections have been added: Road and Construction Technology; Varnishers and Paints; Roofing Materials; Landscaping.

Official support is provided by the Khokimiat (City Hall) of Tashkent city, State Committee for Architecture and Construction, UzStroyMateriali (Uzbekistan Construction Materials) Company, Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition is held with organizational support of the UzExpoCentre under the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan.

The organizers of UzBuild 2007 expect the event to be a success – every visitor will find something that will be interesting to him or her, something new or useful. In this sense, it is hard to overestimate the importance of the exhibition, since it is a place for the establishment of dialogue between the producers and consumers – the key players in the market environment.
