District Nazim Faryal Talpur inaugurated the annual HM Khoja flower show alongside an art, science and cultural exhibition – 2007 here on Tuesday. The flower show was inaugurated in the presence of a large number of citizens, including women and children. A variety of beautiful flowers was put on display while entertainment items were also displayed mainly for children. The Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science and Technology and different colleges and schools arranged stalls showing various scientific instruments and art and cultural items. The district Nazim while talking to newsmen said the flower and scientific exhibitions were a good practice and such shows should be organised every year.
