“Home is where the art is” is latest show at Art at the Mill
rt at the Mill will present its latest show “Home Is Where the Art Is.”
This unique show at the art gallery features works to enhance both traditional and contemporary home decor.
The opening reception for the show will be a special two-day event on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25, from 2 to 5 p.m., with refreshments served. In addition to the chance to meet the artists, the public will also have the opportunity learn more about the fine art of interior design.
One of the new exhibiting artists, who is also an interior designer, is Kárin Lowney-Seed of Sparta. She is an accomplished painter whose works are in many private collections throughout the country.
In addition, other area interior designers have been invited to attend the opening and to share their knowledge and expertise. The event should prove to be quite interesting and informative.
“Home Is Where the Art Is” features the work of dozens of local and regional artists, many of whom have shown their work both nationally and on the international circuit in shows and in competitions.
Some of the artists selected for this show are well-established and some are gifted emerging artists.
