Interior design interest for gulfBID
March 21, 2007 By: Momoy Category: Home & DecorationGulfBID 2007, which takes place at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre 15-17th May, has been inundated with interior design companies wanting to participate, the organisers claim.
The exhibition has already sold 70 per cent of the total space available and 50 interior design companies have committed to the show and will benefit from the business to business meetings.
Andrea Wilson, exhibition manager said: “Designers will benefit from the diversity of the show which will feature regional and international industry leaders. Modelled on Index and Big 5 that dmg stage annually in Dubai, gulfBID 2007 will offer a one stop shop of the very best from the construction and interiors industry.”
“Given the increasingly rapid pace of product and technology department, interior design trends and service innovation, gulfBID will give the regions designers the opportunity to fully update themselves six months on from Index and The Big 5.”
Companies already committed to the show are both local and international with particular interest from Europe.
The announcement of participants coincides with the news that the construction boom in the Gulf will reach $9,200 million this year, which is expected to provide billions of dollars worth of business opportunities for interior design and furniture businesses.
