VEGETABLES: Thin out any crowded vegetable seedlings from early plantings of cool-season vegetables.
FRUIT TREES: Check your fruit trees and ornamental fruit trees for the hatching of eastern tent caterpillars. They can be easily pruned off and destroyed while the tents are small.
CRABGRASS: Apply crabgrass herbicides if you have not already done so.
ROSES: Fertilize your rose plants once you notice growth of 3 inches or more.
