Enjoy inspirational Gardens of Cornwall during the regular meeting of the Peninsula Garden Club.

Shirley Rainey, a very active master gardener, will lead gardeners and guests through a showing of The Gardens of Cornwall, produced by the Royal Horticultural Society.

Visit such gardens as Tresco in the Isles of Scilly, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays and Trebah: many have outstanding rhododendrons and azaleas.

With a climate similar to the Peninsula, it shows what fantastic opportunities exist for outstanding local gardens.

The meeting is 7:30 p.m. May 14, at the Mary Winspear Centre.
