The RHS Spring Flower Show returns to Wales this weekend.

The show, now in its third year, takes place in Bute Park, behind Cardiff Castle.

Organisers say it attracts the best nurseries from around the UK – many of which take part in the huge RHS show in Chelsea – and showcases some of the finest Welsh horticultural talent.

Features include two floral marquees, show gardens created by Welsh designers, societies and colleges, a schools wheelbarrow competition, an interactive garden, the opportunity to question RHS gardening experts, a variety of talks and demonstrations, countless gardening accessories for sale and the Experience Wales marquee filled with fine Welsh foods and crafts.
