A new furnishings and accessory shop, opened recently in Los Gigantes, has brought a touch of style to the area.

White Home, owned by Juan del Castillo, offers a choice of furniture that is sure to please those looking for something different. The shop’s specialty is a range of packs that can be made to order. These sets are not the run of the mill packs that can be bought from various shops around the island. Juan’s emphasis is on quality and personal service, not mass production. There are several different packs available to fit out your whole home, such as contemporary or Asian versions. They can include everything for the bedroom, bathroom, dining room and lounge and can be designed to fit the individual’s needs. There are also pieces of garden furniture, bedroom linen and kitchen packs. Every item is built to last, using materials of a high standard.
One of the advantages of buying from White Home is the wide range of choices that are on offer. Each of the packs are available in four wood types and there is a possible combination of almost 50 fabrics to choose from.
All the items can of course be bought separately, but Juan’s specialty is devising the sets that complement each other and the buyer’s home. He can provide a design service where he visits your home and helps you decide which combination will best fit the shape, style and size of your residence. Not only that but he can also supply various household services such as plumbing and electricity, taking the whole of the stress out of preparing your home.

Juan is the son of Tatiana, the owner of the Ambiente interior decoration shop in Armeñime. However, after training in three years in Germany as a decorator and upholsterer and working for a further four years with Tatiana, Juan has decided to go it alone and put his considerable talents to the test.
Anyone is welcome to visit the shop, open from 10.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday, or, if you are particularly interested in purchasing a pack, it is advisable to arrange an appointment first by calling 922 868 084 or 666 504 042. The young lady based in the shop, Nicole, speaks English and Spanish fluently and would be happy to take your call. Find them on the main road just before the junction leading to Los Gigantes or Tamaimo, opposite the police station: Edificio Delmar, San Francisco, Los Gigantes.
