April showers bringing May flowers?
Showers fill the forecast for the Twin Tiers for the next few days as temperatures continue to hover in the mid 50s and low 60s each day.
The National Weather Service of Binghamton forecasts rain for the region until Sunday
The weather service forecast looks like this:
Today – showers in the morning, continued into the afternoon along with a possible thunderstorm with highs around 60 and a 60 percent chance of rain that will continue into the night with storms and showers continuing as temperatures drop into the mid 40s.
Saturday –clouds with a 40 percent chance of showers and a high in the lower 60s, cooling to the low 40s at night with a continued 40 percent chance of showers at night.
Sunday – sunny with highs in the 60s then clouds at night when lows hit the lower 40s.
Monday – sun with highs in the upper 60s, then cooling to the low to mid 20s with a 40 percent chance of rain.
Tuesday – clouds with a 40 percent chance of showers and highs in the upper 60s, then clouding over at night with a continued chance of rainfall.
Wednesday – sunny with highs in the mid 60s then cooling with clouds to a low around 40.
