So I am thinking about flowers and planting
I have been doing my planning thing again. I am about ready to bust loose and go wild in the garden
Don’t want to rush into anything. The weather has been beautiful, supposed to get into the 80’s on Wednesday this week, and I have the day off. After the usual stuff, grocery shopping, cleaning up the kitchen and living room, and a couple of other running around errands I am hoping to get to doing some planting out in the yard.
I have some new day lillies that I did the Ebay thing with, different colors than what we have already. Some reds and whites to go with the everyday oranges we already have. I also have some new blue fescue, and a couple of hosta to plant. This is along with the hosta that I have that need to be divided so that I can establish another walkway out into the yard. I am also thinking about putting in a raised bed garden. But I am getting ahead of myself.
My wife has already used all of the worm poop that I had stored out on the car port from last year. This means that I also have to harvest some more poop from the wormies tomorrow. My day off is going to be busier than what it is when I am at work. But puttering in the yard is going to be a heck of a lot more fun than dealing with the customers.
Plus I have to figure out when I am going to get my Mother something for Mom’s Day and get it sent to her. Along with getting Emily to the store so that she can buy something for her Mom. Planning, planning, planning. Glad I have the DayTimer. Though I don’t think that I will be paying much attention to what I have written in it.
Hosta, day lillies, worm poop, sunshine and maybe a brew or two. Sounds like a good day.
Namaste.
