To create a transition form heavy to light the designer Rouzita Vahhabaghai are combined with metal and glass upper cabinets. Stainless-steel countertops further enhance this transition, while also tying in the appliances with the cabinets. A white 2″ x 2″ glass tile backsplash is illuminated to offset the larger squares of the upper cabinets, adding another layer of rhythm and scale to the kitchen. Photo by Maxwell Mackenzie.
