Coldwater Canyon Guest house is the project designed bu Santa Monica architect Aleks Istanbullu, it’s place that apart from the main house, especially for read and listen music. At this project the designer try to get three colors of equal values so one hue didn’t pop out at you. She experimented with muted palettes — think avocado, sage, Army green. Water from the entry pond travels down a channel, falls into a bucket and then splashes into a lily pond. The corner of the living room cantilevers over the pond like an elevator caught between floors. It’s a cool house with a great canyon views, I think I would be stay longer at home if I have home like that.
