Maison NW – Beautiful and Modern Relaxing Space Interior

Maison NW is a modern relaxing space located in near Paris, in the city of Saint-Ouen. This studio house was designed by Nathalie Wolberg-Architecture. I’m so impressed while first time look at this project, it using various color of light to create a wonderful wall color tones. Everything stuff for this house are really stunning, look at the furniture, floating staircase, curves staircase with yellow light, and the large hanging net that allows the individual to extract himself from the surrounding environment, and makes the body become gravity-conscious. I wouldn’t like to talk to much about it just see the pictures and give a comment please.

Crazy interior….!!!
1Great job….I would love to live in this place!!
GREAT WORK…….JUST GREAAATTTT CREATIVITY !!!!!!
2i love it, smart !!
3WOW! that is incredible, just amazing. I woud love to see this place for real! My sister would absolutely love it!
4I like the one floating staircase. The rest of this place is a waste of space.
What is the purpose here? If it’s “art”, it’s really bad art. And if it’s functional space… What’s the function? To be visually fascinating? So’s Pee Wee’s Playhouse. (And a lot more honestly.)
I mean, talk about getting gushy, like a second year Art School chick, the stupid net in the stairwell, that allows one to, “extract himself from the surrounding environment, and makes the body become gravity-conscious.” Hey look at me! I just crawled out onto this net, and I’m going to pretend to relax, while contemplating gravity, as I really hope this thing doesn’t break.
And to talk about this place as if it were relaxing? A good Barker Lounger is way more comfortable than any of the goofy items furnishing this silly mish-mash of retro-sixties futurism. (I’m halfway surprised the models aren’t all wearing white Dacron jumpsuits.)
And what adult person thinks it’s cool to have little cubby-holes to hide in, like the reading area, and that white box, next to the net?
And who pays for nonsense like this? There are still starving children in this world.
There comes a point where architecture and art merge to become merely a form of intellectual masturbation for the supposedly “in” crowd. This serves as a prime example.
5Wow! Rick let’s be super negative about someone else’s design to make you feel better about yourself. Because your cynical attitude doesn’t also scream second year Art School dude! Don’t take life so seriously, which, I think is the entire point to this design. So the description is a little corny; I, for one, would love to lounge in a hanging net, and possibly recapture some of that lost childhood wonder.
6great post rick! totally agree. Staircase is actually quite good, uses a handrail effectively without crowding things up too much, the rest is nonsense.
7well, in my opinion, Interior design is not about like or dislike, its not about beautiful or not beautiful.
it is all back to the concept of the interior itself.
it is also about creating ambience.
for example, if a client ask an interior designer about creating a ‘fun and cheerful’ interior,, then the designer has to make a fun and cheerful home..
will other people like the look of fun and cheerful interior design?
Interior design is different with interior decor.
a decorator decorate something because they like it or ”oh this one is nice”,,
while an interior designer has to think about the concept, functionality and problem solving..we even have to think about the building’s construction too!!
i think its just the same here, some people like it, and some dont like it.
but as an interior design fresh graduate, i like the design as it looks consistent..the floor, the wall, the ceiling look match..
