Green Prefab House Design from Bangkok Home and Garden Expo

This is a stunning prefab home designed by Bangkok-based firms (Site-Specific and Buatalah Studios), this home especially designed for the Baan Lae Suan Fair, Bangkok home and garden Expo. This is a comfortable home made of four re-used shipping containers and prefabricated modules, designed to meet the needs of a Thai family.

The concept of this house is how to make the traditional Thai house around “4Rs” — reduce, reuse, recycle and renewable. This is an eco friendly prefab home with solar panels on the roof, the home even consider how a “greener” Thai family might grow their food. Clearly, this is not only a house design, but a home and lifestyle makeover.

This home consists of two bedrooms with bright color interior design and constructed of natural materials – making its appearance similar to a contemporary US apartment. Kitchen cabinets and living spaces take advantage of available space with built-in cabinets and furniture. The wide of this house is average 1,000 sq ft.

I am looking to purchased 40 prefab bungalows ultimately for a resort we are building. Can you recommend a firm in Thailand that would give the more “traditional” bungalow look while still taking into account eco-friendly options?
Thank you in advance.
