A boat dock/platform could be attached that floated on the water and guided by vertical pipes/columns so whatever the river level access by boat would be possible.

Gaining planning/building permission must have been interesting – local council or water authority?

At what point does the sewage exit the building and what precautions were taken to prevent water main feed from freezing?

it is so benfitable cost effective place to live.
but what abought mosqitoes & river snack. is there is a dog in the house.

If water levels rise you’re s-o-l. You’d be the first house to get it! But I have to admit it’s freaking awesome looking, I love it without a doubt. If only the water looked more blue and inviting I would jump into the water each day after waking
