This pool house was built in the 1200 square feet areas as a part of a 3.5 acre property in Connecticut. Hariri & Hariri Architecture as the architect, trying to create a pool house that has a contrast design with the traditional architecture of the existing house yet intended to sets up a dialogue between two. This building designed using minimalist style features a spa and outdoor/indoor shower, outdoor/indoor dining area, living /entertainment room, kitchen and bar area, simple bathroom and variety of terraces and decks. The pool has measurement over a 48’x20’ and the house is look like a vessel in the water while viewed from a distance. Wood (Brazilian walnut) was chosen as the main structure of this pool house, combined with series of metal and glass sliding panels that would allow the structure to be transparent and open up towards outside. Pool house is a great place for hanging out with your friend, make outdoor party and many more, but the main obstacle is you must have a large site to create a pool house separated with your main building.
