Personal Library and Writing Studio Interior by Andrew Berman Architect

The library an writing studio building located on Long Island, about two hours drive east of New York City. The client is a critic and historian so he need calm atmosphere to doing his work. The site is adjacent to the client’s home and there’s no drive or path, the sites was surrounded by the trees and woods. The building was conceived as a simple structure with a mutable presence in the landscape. The exterior made of copper that can shift the apparent from the color depending on the light of the day, the viewing angle, and the seasons. The interior is look more spacious, furnished with two lounge chair, bookcase and flat screen TV cabinet.
