House Paint Color Combination Trends for 2009 – 2010

Sometimes while you would like to re-paint your home, you got any problem to mix the color so it could make an eye catching and beautiful combination. These are some color scheme inspiration that become trend for 2009-2010. It’s all about mixing punchy colors with pastel shades or very dark tones and complementing them with neutrals – shades that you wouldn’t ordinarily think of putting together, but actually complement each other well.
The first scheme is a soft florals merged with deeper lively colours that deliver an intriguing, eclectic feel to a room, like Pale Chestnut peach, Nunavut brown, Betrothal fuchsia and Rice Flour lavender grey.

Rich green and yellow botanical hues combined with jeweled tones that create a healing, invigorating ambiance like Sico’s Virgin Olive Oil bright yellow, Green Leaf green, Poetic Green mint and Chanterelle Beige grey.

Chalky whites and muted shades offset by strong purples and dark slate that emit a futuristic yet romantic air, such as Deep in Time purple, Mozart lilac, Rembrandt Brown lavender, and Time Passages white.

Additional home painting tips:
- Sharpen your accents: If your room is already painted in a neutral tone, choose one wall and re-paint it with a punch colour. Freshen up the rest of the décor by introducing other colour combinations through accessories, pillows, bedding or throw rugs.
- Have a block party: Colour blocking — painting blocks of different colours on a wall, whether stripes or rectangular patterns — is becoming increasingly popular. Use all four colours from the combo or simply choose two colours from the grouping to start.
You can go to the Sico website if you interest with this color scheme and wanna paint your home with these colors.

What brand of paint do the colour’s numbers relate to? I love these schemes!
