Modern Women Cloth Store interior by SAKO Architects
Romanticism is a women clothing store located in Hangzhou, China. This store was designed by SAKO Architects, designed in ultra modern style that no one could copy. The main concept of the boutique is how to make the relationship between body and space, clothes are our second skin, space a third skin, and the store design is positioned in between the clothes and space. It’s like a piece of furniture that you can hang clothes on and it changes its shape into partition, counter, chair, furniture as well as railing. 3I like the idea of second skin and its continuous shape inside the space…
4But in my opinion this example needs more work – the wole net looks massive and makes me scared. I imagine that in reality you come into this space in the evening and all the objects, people, surfaces – everything is covered with shadow from this massive net – too much!
I think it’s better to use 1-2 elements rether that forming a ceiling and huge objects.
And (e.g.) if you make the net more elegant, add some furniture instead of decorations on the ceiling – it’ll be perfect!
great! but i dont feel good alot..this store is powerful about interior designing but i think it has more work to seems better ..all asked what is the white material??!!
5Too much of an overpowering net effect. At least it seems interesting but you lose it once you see how monotonous it gets. Too dull & lifeless. The focus is taken off the store & it’s products & it revolves around the interior which loses it’s charm once you enter the store. I like the entrance though. It should have stopped there with maybe just a lit bit inside for blending it in.
