Contemporary Shipping Container House by Numen Development

Cordell House is an affordable container house developed by Katie Nicholas and John walker, it’s a creative house which perfect for urban people and built on limited space. The house was made from four shipping containers the two 40-foot long, 9’6” tall containers form the two bedroom units, which directly support the three roof beams. The rear freestanding guest unit is a third 40-foot container. A 20-foot long, 8’6’ tall unit forms the kitchen which opens onto the main living area. The house interior was look so beautiful with natural finishes and colors of the materials they choose. The designer was going to paint the overhead beams but left them in their raw state to match the tiger bamboo that covers the floor.
