Victorian interior design is become popular during the reign of England’s Queen Victoria from 1837-1901. Houses decorations during this period were characterized with large furniture in scale and ornamentation was seen in carved scrolls, leaves flowers and grapes. A wall is always covered with wallpaper which featured large pattern of flowers, birds or feather. As well as the floor they were covered with oriental rugs or large patterns. Colors ranged from rich jewel tones to dark somber colors, including deep reds, blues, browns, greens and black.
