Herriot + Melhuish Architect completed the villa renovation that located on a small narrow site transformed into a new house with the complete accommodation: a bedroom and office on ground level along with the living spaces; a further bedroom for visiting family; a library; off-street parking; and a north facing entry courtyard.
Q: I just bought a small, narrow 1950s house in Richmond Annex that has been cosmetically remodeled. The problem is, all my windows face directly onto the neighbor’s walls, or else provide a grand vista of the junk in adjacent backyards.
