’132 5. issey miyake’ is the newest label from Japanese fashion designer issey miyake. Japanese designer tokujin yoshioka has has captured the idea of ‘regeneration and recreation’ for the first store of 132 5. issey miyake which was drawn from his previous ‘a piece of cloth’ project. It is special that the mode of display is five transparent torsos hung from the ceiling and each one is completed with computer graphic images displaying the garment construction process shown on iPads installed throughout the store. Another appeal is the ease of visual access almos every angles, thus enabling instant recognition.
