Lounge Interior with Beautiful Ceiling Design – Cienna Ultralounge, New York

April 11, 2011 By: Momoy Category: Design Gallery

modern lounge interior

Antonio Di Oronzo has designed this club/ultralounge in Astoria [New York]. What is your first impression upon seeing it for the first time? Well, mine is this; the ceiling is astounding, it is fussy and the color play makes it even more interesting. The next thing is the dim light. It is calming and relaxing. perfect for a lounge, where people gather and talk, and perhaps also relaxing. Additional Description from the architect: “The space is a cocoon entirely made of a seamless, tufted upholstered shell. The distribution of the 8,888 buttons defining the tufting was organized via 3D software, and allowed for precise fabrication and permissible tolerances. The system of openings in the ceiling and walls of this shell is punctuated by 88,888 acrylic strands. Behind them is a system of LED light fixtures softly flooding the strands and the space with warm hues… and responding to music impulses via ad-hoc software.” Design by Bluarch Architecture + Interiors

Retro Style Lounge Interior by Lime 388 – Yucca Shanghai

retro style lounge interior

At first sight, here are the elements that are stinking out in this room; the color combination, the pattern on the floor, and the natural light arrangement. Working together, these elements promote close interaction among the people enjoying their time in this room. Definitely for social purposes, it is as cheerful as inspiring. Designed by Lime 388, it looks as if a lot is going on and it never gets quite or die down. Always full of vibe. And the multitude of rum and tequila cocktails will only heighten that somewhat mad vibe. Design by Lime 388 official website : Yucca
