Design Research Studio has designed a restaurant interior for Barbecoa at the just-opened One New Change building. The restaurant is a collaboration between Oliver and US chef Adam Perry Lang. The project includes a 200 seater restaurant, 40 seater bar and a take-away venue and butcher. The 700m² project is spread across 3 units over 2 stories within the One New Change building. The design is exclusive and it’s surprising that the lighting and color pattern being used is somewhat calmer giving the effect of a soothing peace which lends itself to being more of private sphere rather than social one.
